Lea Spring Regatta

After a record entry in 2024, we once again invite you to join us for side-by-side sprint rowing in the heart of Hackney – the traditional first regatta of the summer!

Side-by-side racing, downstream on flat canal water, under the British Rowing Rules of Racing.

Open to all British Rowing members (Day Tickets can be used).

Prizes: engraved drinking vessels for adult events; medals for juniors.

And for spectators: homemade cake and a balcony bar with unobstructed view of the finish line.

Fine boat racing

Boat classes up to four seats (1x/2x/2-/4+/4x+/4x-).

Recreational racing

A single class for stable 4x+ (boats supplied by us).

350m from a free start.

Mixed crews (minimum two women rowing).
